The waters off of the shores of Morne Rouge feature some of the best spots for snorkeling on the island although there are no watersports shops on the beach.

Other Beaches
Needless to say, there are other beaches besides Morne Rouge Beach in Grenada. You might also enjoy a visit to Tyrrel Bay; it's found 37.9 miles to the north. Visitors to Tyrrel Bay will find it teeming with local commerce around the harbour. There's plenty to do and see along the water's edge, including fine dining and drinks. Travelers might also want to pick up something to remember their trip by at one of the local shops.
But, if you're interested in a more active beach, you might like Grand Anse Beach. It is located 1.6 miles to the northeast.
You might also want to visit Pink Gin Beach, located 1.8 miles from Morne Rouge Beach. Pink Gin Beach is located on the southwest tip of the island, and is bordered by two large resorts.
